One of the many things in this life we should really understand is this; what we do throughout our lives as adolescents, teens and adults can and will affect our future.
Both the negative and the positive.
Please believe...
...ladies and gentlemen...
* what we do TODAY affects our future
* what we say TODAY affects our future
* how we RESPOND TODAY affects our future
* how we LIVE TODAY affects our future
...with that being said, please DO NOT be surprised if some of the choices YOU'VE made follow you into your future!
Know that whatever you sowed yesterday will bear its own personal fruit tomorrow!
Fresh for you to chew, eat, digest and pass if you're smart!!
Here's the kicker though, when your past revisits you, it's OK to complain about, whine about it, you might even get depressed about it (I've done them all!) but the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to find a way to move past it!
You probably won't be able to change it, but you can make a conscious decision as to whether or not you will allow your past to DICTATE or control your future. Most of our mistakes cannot be undone; that's why you have to pay real close attention to life as it happens.
If you hurt someone, don't waste time by not apologizing. Own your part, apologize! Prepare yourself for the possibility that your apology may or may not be accepted and move on! Make this your peace. Allow the fact that you stood up to your past to transform you into your peace; no matter what the situation. Live life past your past, its just better that way.
If you are truly repentant about your wrong, your blessings will follow.
If someone has wronged you in any way...
* spoke disrespectfully to you
* spewed hatred or negativity at you for no reason
* gave you undeserved anger
* mistreated you as a child or an adult
* committed any type of injustice against you
...no matter who it is, please make the choice to forgive and move forward. I cannot discount any of the life experiences that caused you hurt, no one can gauge your hurt or your true feelings except you, but I'm very sure that none of it happened to control your life or your future.
It's important that we find the lesson that LIFE wanted to teach us, in every positive and negative situation and that we CHOOSE to grow from it.
No matter when it happened, if you're still breathing, you can still learn the lesson that was intended for you when you went through that situation!!!!
Its just not worth giving anyone any amount of control over your life. Release it, learn from it and grow!
In the meantime, while it's very important to live for today, its equally important to make good decisions. Whether you know it or not every decision we make, whether spare of the moment, fast, quick or slowly thought out; they are all still long term decisions.
They will return in some way, shape, form or fashion. Stop and think before acting. Be a leader rather than a follower. If you are an influencer, influence yourself as well as others in a positive way rather than a negative way. Don't add fuel to flames, but work to create an atmosphere of peace wherever you go, these are all fruit of a managed future. We can't stop life from happening around us, but we can control what we do and how we respond.
One more thing though, be diligent, consistent, disciplined and hard-working. No one ever really got anything by doing nothing! Not anything worth having/keeping anyway...
Remember, there are some things in our lives (especially as children) that we just couldn't control; but once we are at an accountable age where we're able to make good common sense decisions regardless of where we lived, how we were raised or how much we have, we're still accountable for what we say, what we do, and how we react. Don't blame others...don't be a victim.
If God allows you to open your eyes to see another day, you have been given another chance to create hundreds of thousands of stepping stones that will lead you to your lovely, divinely inspired, bright future!!!!
Pave it wisely!!!!

One Man, One Woman
When someone decides to make public their preference to marry someone of the same gender/sex, I have that same freedom (to make public my preference). Just like I'm free to believe God and His Word, so am I free to voice what His word says anywhere I choose and whenever I please, in Love of course.
Its funny how everyone can say what they want, how they feel and give their opinions on the events of the day, but as soon as a person of Faith, a believer in God and Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Holy Spirit and the Bible speaks up, there's a problem.
The church don't have to stand up, but I will STAND for what I believe is truth and that is, in this case, marriage between ONE man and ONE woman. If that offends anyone, sorry, I didn't write it, but I do agree with it and will speak up for it, that's what I'm called to do as a believer.
I DO NOT stand DIVIDED or UNDECIDED, but I stand in total ASSURANCE that God's word is TRUE! Please know, I am not judging anybody, that's not my place, but it is my place to promote prayer for what's right.

Mr "Not Right Now"
Single Ladies don't ignore the red flags! He may not be Mr. Wrong, but he may be Mr. Not Right Now. Give him time to clean up some of his mess before you PUSH him down the aisle or you'll end stuck with a Hot Mess on your hands! Oh, and clean up some your mess while you're waiting!
When My Comfort Zone Is Killing My Vision
In my
comfort zone, although I feel safe I’m
afraid of what’s ahead of me…
afraid to move
forward…
afraid to
let go of what’s familiar to me…
people who
are familiar to me…
places that
are familiar to me.
When moving
forward seems like too much…
when it
seems like more than I’m able to process…
more than I
can handle…
more often
than not…
surprisingly
enough…
I choose to
stay in my comfort zone.
So I say to
God, just leave me here to my own thoughts & plans. Although in my heart I
want to move forward into what God has for me, my lack of faith won’t let me
believe that God’s got it all under control. As much as I want to trust Him and
submit to His will, I can’t do that in my comfort zone because there is no
faith here.
What about
you? Has God ever shown you something
about yourself that you thought was so amazing, but you still said;
No God, not
me!
Who’s going to do that?
Who’s going to go there?
Who’s going to have that?
Certainly,
not me!
That’s when you know your comfort zone is killing your vision.
Faith calls
me to believe forward...it calls me to believe what I cannot see.
(Hebrews
11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.)
The word
“substance” means ‘that which is
Foundation’ – so the foundation, the very beginning of anything God has shown us
about ourselves is faith, if there is none (faith), there is nothing else.
While in a comfort zone experience, one can only see
what’s comfortable, easy, and familiar. In this stagnant place we're not required
to trust in anybody except ourselves.
In order for us to move from a place of comfort to a
place of faith, we must trust in God and keep Him as our primary focus. We must remove ourselves from sin and
disorder and quiet ourselves with the peace of God’s spirit in order to receive His direction. We must not refuse
the process that we must go through in order to receive what God
has promised us.
The only living things that exists in this place is fear, complacency and
faithlessness. Not life-giving ‘living’ but ‘life-taking’ living! Comfort zones
diminish & destroy dreams, visions, relationships, progress, excellence and growth!
And finally, we must not be lazy and rebellious in our
responses to God and His prompting for us to move forward, to let go of the baggage of our past or people we should have left in our past. He is simply calling us to faith and trust in Him to bring what He has shown us to pass!
Please be patient with me
Stop forcing Your PROCESS on your friends & loved-ones!
While there is love behind your intentions, people will only change when they want to change.
Their change is not about your convenience but its about their desire for it. Keep praying for them, loving them & encouraging them & it will happen in God's good time!
Remember, Holy Spirit Convicts, so don't nobody need you to Condemn!
"There is a reason for our Adversity"
Personal Adversity has a way of revealing our true selves to US;
Adversity in relationships allows us to see clearer the people God has connected to us or who He is disconnecting us from. Its all a part of the process that it takes to fulfill our divine purpose.
Embrace your adversity, push through it, learn from it and you will continue to become the person God intended you to be
